Rhonda is the owner and managing Principal Broker for Portland Northwest Realty Group.
She came to the Pacific Northwest 17 years ago, fell in love with the area, and bought her first farmhouse bungalow in the Alberta Arts neighborhood of Portland in 2006. She went on to buy several more homes in Portland, finally settling in Vancouver, WA in 2020.
Rhonda brings a love of organic vegetable and flower gardening and backyard farming design to the work that she does with real estate. She specializes in working with first-time buyers and strongly believes that housing should be accessible to everyone. She currently lives with her husband and two dogs in a restored and remodeled 1950's mid-century modern home on the urban backyard farm she and brokerage partner Ken Swyt designed. She enjoys spending her free time shopping at estate sales, exploring wineries and breweries, and working in her expansive organic vegetable garden and fruit orchard.
Rhonda is licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Ken comes to Portland NW Realty Group with 25+ years as founder of Ken Swyt Design, an event design business that produced events across the country and around the world.
While living in the Bay Area in California, he enthusiastically embarked on a reinvention of the property by adding a tiny house and driveway, olive grove with 75 trees, retaining walls made from the property’s abundant rocks, a septic system, a well with corrugated galvanized water tank and a 60 x 120 foot enclosed garden filled with assorted fruit trees and lavender. His appreciation for historical buildings led him to purchase his enchanting 1906 San Francisco Edwardian flat and to give it many thoughtful modern updates. After he and his partner moved to Portland, they saved a 1917 Dutch Colonial from falling prey to decay. He designed all components of the fully renovated house and redesigned the front and back gardens.
Ken thrives on collaboration and enjoys the process of being part of a team that helps homeowners find their own special place where they’ll be able to nurture their passions. He believes that creating a home is the ultimate act of self-expression, since it’s through our homes that many of us write the unique storybook of our lives.
Ken is licensed in Oregon.
