My Story

My Approach

I believe in collaboration and education and want to make sure you understand the process from our first meeting to signing. I treat all my clients the way I treat my friends and family; with kindness, a listening ear, a desire to help and see you live your dream. I believe in making relationships last longer than just the transaction.

My Story

I have a love of homes and a deep belief that home ownership is both personally and financially rewarding. Before my career in Real Estate, I spent 20 years as a print and internet graphic designer working for big retail companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. After moving to Portland 15 years ago, I started my second career in Real Estate. As a Realtor, I bring design and marketing expertise to the work I do, as well as a passion for education and collaboration with my clients.

I became a Realtor because I love working with people and helping them to find the perfect place to live, or to help them sell and move on to their next adventure in life. First time buyers are my specialty. I make it a focus of my business to give them the knowledge and guidance they need when buying their first home.

My brokerage is Urban Nest Realty, my managing Principal Broker is Karen Bilsing. I am licensed in Oregon and Washington.

My Guiding Principals

I treat all my clients the way I treat my friends and family; with honesty,
trust, a listening ear, an ethical foundation and a willingness to build lasting relationships.

Honesty + Trust

I build trust with my clients by being honest and putting their needs before my own, always.  Making the process as seamless and rewarding as possible is my goal with every interaction we have together.

Building Relationships that Last

I treat my clients with respect, kindness and confidentiality. The relationships I build with them last longer than just the transaction, and my goal is to make friends as well as clients.

Giving back is very important to the way I live my life and run my business. I have volunteered on several local non-proft organizations such as the Affordable Housing board of the St. Johns Center for Opportunity, cooking for  Our House of Portland, and helping to build homes for  Habitat for Humanity. All of these non-profits work towards increasing the diversity and livability of the city of Portland for it's residents.

Education + Training

I stay at the top of my game with education and training on the very latest in real estate, and attend topic-specific webinars, classes and seminars monthly.

Putting My Clients First

My clients come first, always. I take great care in doing more listening than talking, finding out what will make you happy, and helping you along your path in real estate

Staying Positive and Having Fun

Real estate transactions can be at times challenging and stressful. But they can also be a lot of fun if conducted with care and professionalism. My goal is to help you through each transaction smoothly and with no surprises, and to have a little fun along the way.
